Our professional therapy staff consists solely of licensed physical therapists. Expertise among all the therapists totals over 50 years of clinical practice, performed in a variety of settings.
David founded NFPT in 1987. He received his Physical Therapy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1983 and immediately assisted in establishing the inpatient/outpatient rehab department of North Fulton Hospital. Previous to his medical training, he received his undergraduate degree in Health Education from Milligan College in 1978, where he was also an all-conference baseball player. David obtained his Master's degree in Health Education from Radford University in 1979, where he was also a graduate assistant. Upon graduation, David was an instructor, for two years, at Mountain Empire Community College in Virginia. David’s special interests include orthopedic and sports rehabilitation of the upper and lower extremities, and has worked as a sports medicine consultant to many of the North Fulton high schools for over 37 years, in addition to working with both collegiate and professional athletic populations. David currently serves as a Clinical Instructor for the doctoral physical therapy programs of Georgia State University and Brenau University, and has served industrial clients from corporations including Kimberly Clark, AT&T, and Unilever Corp. David resides in the Alpharetta area, enjoying his personal hobbies of fishing, hiking and landscaping. David is a member of the Birmingham United Methodist Church in Milton.
Leslie joined North Fulton Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in 2012. Here she enjoys treating both orthopedic and neurological conditions, such as post-surgical recoveries, soft tissue and joint dysfunctions, gait and postural impairments, peripheral neuropathies, and balance deficits. Prior to this, she worked at A.G. Rhodes, a skilled nursing facility, treating patients with advanced neurological diseases, as well as diagnoses and deficits that were more orthopedic in nature. Additionally, Leslie is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia. Leslie graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Engineering and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Georgia State University. She also has a business background, working as a Process Engineer for ChoicePoint, as well as a Senior Product Manager at Harvard Business School. Leslie enjoys spending time with her family of boys (husband, three sons and dog), traveling to new destinations, exercising and staying active, and cheering on her favorite college football teams (go Yellow Jackets and Buckeyes!).
Matt is a 2018 graduate from Brenau University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Prior to receiving his advanced degree, Matt earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from Georgia Southern University. His physical therapy interests include the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and sport-specific injuries of the spine, upper and lower extremities. Matt previously worked at Resurgens Orthopaedics in Sandy Springs and in outpatient pediatrics at Essential Therapy Services in Cumming. Matt is also an alum of Roswell High School. He enjoys sports, running, backpacking, and fishing. Matt and his wife Megan currently live in East Cobb with their dogs, Lincoln and Brodee.
Marcee Keith has been with NFPT since 2021 after graduating with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Augusta University (previously known as Medical College of Georgia). New to the area, Marcee is from Macon, GA, but looks forward to making the Roswell community her home. Marcee has interests in a variety of specialties including spine stabilization, vestibular, balance and gait, and other neurological conditions. She is planning to get further specialization into the treatment of neurological conditions such as vestibular, Parkinson’s, and Women’s Health rehabilitation for pelvic floor dysfunction. In her free time, Marcee loves to stay active with her husband and dog, try new recipes and bake for her friends and family, cheer on the Georgia Bulldogs, and travel to new destinations. Prior to getting her DPT, Marcee received a Bachelor of Education in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Georgia, where she worked as an American Sports Medicine Association’s Certified Personal Trainer for the university.
Maly has been a part of the NFPT since 2000. She has worked in a variety of medical settings including family practice, urgent care, home health and orthopedics. She is a mother of two beautiful daughters and enjoys keeping everyone in the clinic organized and efficient.
